Weymouth is the perfect destination all year round.
The town’s golden sands and safe, shallow waters are ideal for family fun or for an early morning stroll.
The delightful 17th century harbour is one of the prettiest along the south coast. The fishing fleet sits in harmony with the visiting yachts that moor alongside the harbour walls.
DAY 1: After completing our local pick-up route we head towards Weymouth, with suitable lunch and refreshment stops en-route. Aiming to arrive at our hotel in suitable time to freshen up before dinner.
DAY 2: Today is a day at your leisure. Whether it’s a bracing walk along the seafront or a spot of Christmas shopping – there’s plenty to see and do in Weymouth.
DAY 3: Today we travel to Dorchester, a town with one foot in the past and another firmly in the future. Some of this country’s best preserved Roman ruins are moments away from a thriving High Street. Wednesday is market day, follow the locals to find the best bargains!!
DAY 4: Today we visit Swanage, a traditional Victorian seaside town, set at the heart of Purbeck and built around a beautiful bay. There is a chance to get off the coach at Norden and get the steam train to Swanage for a small extra charge if you wish.
DAY 5: Today we say a fond farewell to our hosts and make our way homeward with suitable lunch and refreshment stops en-route. Aiming to be back in Kent late afternoon.
