Cricket St Thomas
The scene of much of the famous TV comedy, To The Manor Born, Cricket St. Thomas was also frequently visited by Lord Nelson and Lady Hamilton.
This classic country house is set in splendid parkland, with colourful gardens, lakes, and a unique woodland area.
The hotel provides extensive entertainment, including nightly live performances, and excellent dining venues, including The Granary which is set in a pretty walled garden.

You will be astonished at the variety of landscape, architecture and culture to be found. From coastal cliffs to moorland; from cityscapes to village greens and from arts festivals to agricultural shows – Somerset really does have it all.
DAY 1: After completing our local pick up route we head towards Somerset, with suitable lunch and refreshment stops en-route. On arrival at our hotel there’s time to freshen up before dinner.
DAY 2: Today we head to Yeovil. Its bustling streets are lined with a mix of conventional high street stores and independent retailers, selling everything from crafts and clothes to pottery and food, much of it with a distinctive West Country appeal.
DAY 3: Today is one to spend at your leisure. There is a lot to do in and around the resort.
DAY 4: The penultimate day starts in Bridport – a lively and vibrant market town with a tremendous reputation for arts, culture and food. From there it’s a short journey to West Bay, a charming fishing village on the Jurassic Coastline. It has enjoyed a surge in popularity in recent years while playing host to ITV’s smash hit drama Broadchurch.
DAY 5: Today we say a fond farewell to our hosts and make our way back to Kent with suitable lunch and refreshment stops en-route.
