Howden Court Hotel
A family-run hotel in the centre of Torquay, Howden Court is set in a beautiful garden with access to the private pathway to Torquay seafront and Torquay Harbour.
Built in 1860, it is a period Grade II listed property and retains many of the architectural features of the day.

A traditional yet thriving seaside town set on Devon’s English Riviera coast.
With its iconic palm trees, busy harbour, international marina, sandy beach and wonderful array of continental style cafes, restaurants and cocktail bars, the scene is set for the perfect Devon seaside holiday.
DAY 1: After completing our local pick-up route we head towards Torquay, with suitable lunch and refreshment stops en-route. Aiming to arrive at our hotel in suitable time to freshen up before dinner.
DAY 2: This morning we head to Totnes, a historic market town that combines breathtakingly beautiful countryside and a fascinating history. From there, it’s a short drive to Paignton – one of the brightest jewels in the English Riviera’s crown.
DAY 3: Today we visit Brixham, a stunningly beautiful harbourside town. There’s free time to sightsee and purchase refreshments. In the afternoon we travel to the Dartmouth Steam Railway for a relaxing journey along the South Devon coast.
DAY 4: Today is yours to spend in the resort. Take a wander down to the sandy beaches or enjoy some retail therapy in town.
DAY 5: Today we visit Exeter, one of the most vibrant, attractive and historically interesting cities in England. From the magnificent cathedral to the award-winning Royal Albert Museum, there’s plenty to see and do.
DAY 6: In the morning we head to Moretonhampstead, a busy and picturesque Dartmoor town – a chance to purchase refreshments. It’s then on to Widecombe-in-the-Moor. With its tea rooms, shops, pubs and the most gorgeous of settings, this village is one to savour.
DAY 7: Today we say a fond farewell to our hosts and make our way homeward with suitable lunch and refreshment stops en-route. Aiming to arrive back in Kent late afternoon.
