About Giant’s Causeway
The northern reaches of Ireland opens up a kaleidoscope of unspoilt wonders with the unforgettable UNESCO World Heritage Site of Giant’s Causeway and the hauntingly majestic Glenveagh National Park and Castle.
DAY 1: After completing our local pick-up route we head towards our overnight stop in Wales, with suitable lunch and refreshment stops en-route. Aiming to arrive at our hotel in suitable time to freshen up before dinner.
DAY 2: Today we travel to Holyhead for our ferry crossing to Dublin. We then continue north to County Donegal, with suitable refreshment stops en-route. On arrival at the hotel, tea or coffee with biscuits will be served. There’s time to freshen up before dinner.
DAY 3: Today we travel to Giant’s Causeway, located along the stunning North Antrim Coast. Free time to explore a landscape that has inspired artists, stirred scientific debate and captured the imagination of all who see it. On the return, we drive through Bushmills, known for its appearance in the popular TV show Game of Thrones.
DAY 4: Glenveagh Castle and National Park is today’s excursion. The park is set in some 16,500 hectares of mountains, lakes, glens and woods. Our visit includes a 30-minute guided tour of the castle. There is free time to explore the castle grounds and purchase some refreshments.
DAY 5: Today we make the short journey to Derry, where the day is yours to explore Northern Ireland’s second-largest city.
DAY 6: Today we say a fond farewell to our hosts and head back to Dublin for the ferry crossing to Holyhead. It’s then on to our overnight hotel, arriving in time to freshen up before dinner.
DAY 7: After breakfast, we continue our way homeward, with suitable lunch and refreshment stops en-route. Aiming to arrive back in Kent late afternoon.
