Itinerary

DAY 1: After completing our local pick-up route we head towards King’s Lynn, with suitable lunch and refreshment stops en-route. Aiming to arrive at our hotel in good time to freshen up before dinner.

DAY 2: This morning we will have a journey on Wells and Walsingham light railway. Sit back and enjoy a trip through beautiful countryside whilst you take in the evocative sights, sounds and smells of steam travel. In the afternoon we will visit Holkham Hall, a special place with a stunning coastal landscape. At its heart is a magnificent stately home and deer park.

DAY 3: This morning we travel to Springfields Festival Gardens. The gardens are beautifully landscaped featuring Chelsea-style celebrity showcase gardens, including designs by Charlie Dimmock, Chris Bearshaw and Kim Wilde. In the afternoon we will visit Norfolk Lavender Farm, founded in 1932, renowned worldwide and with nearly 100 acres of lavender under cultivation.

DAY 4: Today we travel to Horning and board the Southern Comfort Paddle Steamer. Enjoy a round trip along the River Bure passing lovely thatched houses, windmills and Norfolk reed beds. Excellent commentary throughout the trip.

DAY 5: Today we say a fond farewell to our hosts and make our way back to Kent including a stop at Southwold.
