DAY 1: After completing our local pick-up route we head towards Amsterdam. Enjoy some free time in the city before boarding our vessel. After freshening up, there’s a welcome cocktail and dinner on board.
DAY 2: Our boat is anchored in the river port of Amsterdam. The city’s canals, as well as the world-famous museums and historical monuments, make Amsterdam one of the most romantic and beautiful cities in Europe. Today we visit Keukenhof Gardens, where more than seven million tulips will be in bloom. With 800 varieties spread over 32 hectares – it is an unforgettable experience.
DAY 3: Today we wake up in Rotterdam, a Dutch city known for its excellent reputation for architecture. The city also has a rich cultural life with a wide range of museums, including two of the most important in the Netherlands: the Boijmans van Beuningen and the Kunsthal. Enjoy free time or a walking tour to discover the fantastic attractions that the city offers.
DAY 4: In the morning, we arrive in Ghent, the anicent capital of Flanders. The city has the largest number of monuments in Belgium. Enjoy the free day in the city or join a walking tour of the key attractions.
DAY 5: We will arrive in the Belgian capital of Brussels after breakfast. In this wonderful city one can get lost in beautiful gardens, have a drink on a busy terrace or simply enjoy its unique architecture. Our guided tour will show you the most emblematic places of this great city with the charm of a small city. Do not miss the opportunity to taste the best Belgian chocolates or beers. Free afternoon to spend at leisure.
DAY 6: We wake up in Antwerp, the largest city in Flanders. The city is famous for its fashion, cuisine and of course for the paintings of Rubens, the most influential painter in Belgium. Antwerp is also known as the world capital of diamonds. Our guided walking tour will cover the most important points of interest in the historic centre. Be sure to try another Antwerp gem, the Koninck beer served in a traditional Bolleke glass. Free afternoon to spend at leisure.
DAY 7: At dawn, we will arrive in Dordrecht, the oldest city in Holland. The historic centre of the city has more than 1,000 monuments. Free morning to walk through its old ports and charming shopping streets. At night, the captain’s dinner will take place. Night stopover in Amsterdam.
DAY 8: We say a fond farewell to our hosts after breakfast and make our way homeward with suitable lunch and refreshment stops en-route. Aiming to arrive back in Kent early evening.
