An island of rediscovery where landscapes are just waiting to be explored.
Whether it’s the view from the battlements of a 12th century castle, a beach walk along Jersey’s unspoilt coastline or taking time to reflect while you watch the sun sink into the sea over St Ouen’s Bay, Jersey is there to be discovered.
DAY 1: After completing our local pick-up route we head towards Bournemouth, for our overnight stop.
DAY 2: After breakfast we head to Poole for the ferry crossing to Jersey. On arrival, we head south to the Merton Hotel for our four-night stay.
DAY 3: Today we head out along the western side of the island. The tour takes in St Aubins Bay, St Brelands Bay, Fishermans Chapel, Corbiere Lighthouse, St Ouens Bay and Greve De Lecq Bay. At Greve De Lecq Bay there’s an opportunity to purchase refreshments before the return to St Helier via St Peters Valley. The coach arrives back at the hotel early afternoon for free time in the local area.
DAY 4: Today is a day at your leisure. The island has a convenient ‘hop on, hop off’ bus network, ideal for getting to an attraction of your choice. (Local bus charges apply).
DAY 5: On the penultimate day, there’s a drive along the east coast of the island. Gorey Harbour, St Catherines Bay (where the coach stops and you can purchase refreshments) and Rozel Bay are on the itinerary. The tour takes in the Bonne Nuit Bay on the north coast, before returning to St Helier via the Waterworks Valley. The afternoon is yours to relax before our return journey home the following day.
DAY 6: Today we say a fond farewell to our hosts and make our way back to Kent with suitable refreshment stops en-route.
A single room supplement of £149 applies
