A natural gateway to the South Downs, it attracts thousands of visitors looking to get away from it all. The coastal town is also a wonderful base to explore the glorious surrounding countryside and the Sussex Coast.
DAY 1: After completing our local pick up route we head towards Eastbourne, with suitable lunch and refreshment stops en-route. Aiming to arrive at our hotel in good time to freshen up before dinner.
DAY 2: This morning the coach heads to Brighton. Dropping off on the seafront, there’s time to wander along the pier, shop in The Lanes and purchase a bit of lunch.
In the afternoon, it’s a short journey along the coast to Worthing for the delights of this classic British seaside town.
DAY 3: Today there is a free day to explore Eastbourne. From the Victorian pier and three-tier promenade to the quaint Victorian shopping streets of Little Chelsea and the boutiques in the Enterprise Centre – there’s lots to discover with the delights of this classic British seaside town.
DAY 4: Today starts in Rye. Perched on a hill, the medieval town of Rye is the sort of place you thought existed only in your imagination. It’s market day, so make sure you grab a bargain or two.
Later that day, we travel to Battle. This charming market town grew up around Battle Abbey and takes its name from the famous battle between England’s would be rulers William Duke of Normandy and the Saxon King Harold.
DAY 5: We say a fond farewell to our hosts and make our way homeward with suitable lunch and refreshment stops en-route.
