Itinerary
DAY 1: After completing our local pick-up route we head towards Devon, with suitable lunch and refreshment stops en-route. Aiming to arrive at our hotel in good time to freshen up before dinner.
DAY 2: This morning we visit the seaside town of Seaton, gateway to the Jurassic coast. Maybe enjoy a tram ride at Seaton Tramway or just enjoy the fabulous coastline. In the afternoon we visit the donkey sanctuary, see for yourself how the charity make a profound difference to the lives of many donkeys.
DAY 3: A day at leisure.
DAY 4: This morning we visit the quaint historic estuary port of Topsham. Topsham offers a vibrant mix of boutiques, galleries, gifts, fine wines and foods. Once a thriving port and shipbuilding centre, Topsham still retains a strong maritime flavour. We then head to Bicton Park Gardens with over 64 acres to explore “A delight for gardeners” spanning nearly 300 years of gardening history, the park is home to many rare and beautiful species, collected from around the world. The Palm House is made from over 18,000 panes of glass (built 20 years before Kew Gardens Palm House).
DAY 5: We say a fond farewell to our hosts and make our way homeward with suitable lunch and refreshment stops en-route. Aiming to arrive back in Kent early evening.
