If you love flowers, you’ll love our Dutch Delights holiday from Friday 31 March to Monday 3 April.
Our mini-break in Holland includes a visit to Keukenhof Gardens for a day among the flowers. There are more than seven million bulbs in bloom this spring, with a total of 800 varieties of tulips – it’s a unique and unforgettable experience.
Besides the spacious 32 hectares of flowers you can enjoy the spectacular flower shows, surprising inspirational gardens and unique artwork.
The Keukenhof theme for 2017 is Dutch Design.
Famous artists and designers such as Mondriaan and Rietveld, have laid the foundations for Dutch design. Even today, Dutch designers are appreciated worldwide for their industry leading designs in fashion, graphic design, architecture and furniture design.
On the penultimate day, the coach stops at Kinderdiijk Windmills – a UNESCO World Heritage site.
The gorgeous windmills of Kinderdijk are part of a unique phenomenon. Nowhere else in the world can you find the complete history of water management at a single location. The windmills and pumping stations drain the excess water from the Alblasserwaard into the river Lek via the Elshout sluices.
Don’t miss out on this excellent opportunity to experience some European culture. To book, telephone Brookline HQ on 01732 845656 and ask to speak to David, head of commercial sales.
- This four-day break costs from £315 per person and, as an added bonus, we’ll throw in a 12-month membership of the Brookline Travel Club.
- The travel club offers reduced prices on all of our 2017 day breaks. We’ve got some fantastic days out coming up, including Brighton i360, Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey) and a Walton-on-Thames boat cruise.
