Have a look and book with Brookline this September.
We start the month with a visit to Oxford on Thursday 2 September. From sightseeing to shopping, make the most of your free time to explore this delightful city.
St Albans is our next stop on Saturday 4. Steeped in history with a special Royal Charter, the market offers an excellent shopping experience.
The only way is Essex on Wednesday 8, as we head to Colchester and Clacton.
Who knows where we’ll go on Friday 10. Not even we do yet but our Mystery Day Trip is always a popular one for our passengers.
Enjoy the delights of the Kent coast on Sunday 12, as we head down to Deal. With its award-winning High Street, mazy smugglers’ lanes and independent shops, it is an ideal place for a day out.
The following week, we’re off to Norwich on Tuesday 14 and Southend-on-Sea on Friday 17.
On Saturday 18, we’re hosting a coach tour of the New Forest, taking in the early autumn colours. This is always a popular day out, so don’t miss out.
The following day, on Sunday 19, it is The Duxford Battle of Britain Airshow. At the airfield that made history, immerse yourself in summer 1940 – when the Spitfire ruled the skies and the ‘Few’ brought hope to the British Isles.
Wednesday 22 sees us head to the Sussex coast. We’re off to Brighton – the city by the sea. Stroll along the vibrant beachfront with its artists’ and fishing quarters, wander down the historic pier or shop in The Lanes or at Churchill Shopping Centre.
The world’s greatest flower show will be held for the first time ever in September and we’ve got tickets! Join us for a day out at RHS Chelsea Flower Show on Saturday 25.
We’re back on the Sussex coast the following day – Sunday 26 – for some free time in Eastbourne. There’s a huge range of restaurants and cafes to choose from when it comes to eating out in this popular Sussex resort. From the home of the Banoffi Pie to ice cream parlours, Victorian tea rooms, bistros and more, find plenty to satisfy your palate or thirst.
Monday 27 sees a visit over the Thames to Essex, with stops at Maldon and Chelmsford.
If you’ve missed live theatre over lockdown, then book to see Bless ‘Em All at The Criterion Blue Town Music Hall. The variety show recalls the stars and songs of World War II and includes a lunch of fish and chips before the afternoon performance.
Our final destination of the month is to Worthing on Thursday 30. Take a stroll on the iconic art deco pier – it’s a great spot to view the Sussex coastline and if it’s a clear autumn day (fingers crossed) you can see the Seven Sisters.
