HOLIDAY INFORMATION, TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please take a moment to read this information carefully before making a booking with Brookline Coaches.
BOOKING WITH BROOKLINE

Any special requests must be made at the time of booking. While we will do our best to help, we cannot guarantee to fulfil the request(s).
Upon paying a deposit or any monies due (if beyond the deposit period), you and all other persons paid for, agree to the Brookline Coaches terms and conditions. A non-refundable deposit of £75 per person per tour must be paid at time of booking.
Deposits can be paid by cash, cheque or debit card.

Balances are due eight weeks before departure date. We do not contact you for the balance.
If you book within the balance due period, you will need to pay the whole holiday cost at the time of booking
ITINERARIES
The one thing that cannot be guaranteed is the weather. If the itinerary has to be changed slightly, no refunds will be given. If you do not wish to take part in any or all of the itineraries included in the tour, no refunds will be given. Itineraries in this brochure are a guide only and published excursions, days and dates may alter without notice.
No refunds will also be given in circumstances such as breakdowns, traffic delays and extreme weather conditions that may delay or curtail excursions and approximate arrival times.
CHANGES TO HOLIDAYS
IF WE CANCEL THE HOLIDAY
Many of our holidays require a minimum number of bookings. If we have to cancel we would offer you an alternative Holiday or a full refund. Occasionally, we may reduce the price of a holiday and it is at our discretion if refunds are given.
IF WE CHANGE YOUR HOLIDAY
In the unlikely event we have to change a hotel or holiday dates, you have the choice of continuing with the amended holiday or accepting an alternative holiday.

TRAVELLING WITH BROOKLINE
NO SMOKING POLICY
Smoking is not permitted onboard the coach. There are comfort stops on the outward and return journeys.
LUGGAGE LIMITS
Due to the limited amount of space on our coach fleet, coupled with EU regulations on weight, we reserve the right to refuse carriage for baggage deemed as oversized. The maximum size we can carry is 26 inches long by 20 inches high, with a maximum weight of 20kgs.
WHEELCHAIRS & WALKERS
Due to the limited amount of luggage space on our coach fleet, we can carry wheelchairs as long as they can be folded flat and be stowed away in the luggage hold. Electric scooters can be carried but they must be able to be folded, seat and handle bars removed and be stowed away in the luggage hold.
Wheelchairs and scooters must be advised at the time of booking to make sure there is adequate space on the coach.
If you have disability-related requests, please advise at the time of booking. While we will do our best to help, we cannot guarantee to fulfil the request(s).
TRAVELLING TO EUROPE
It may be necessary to alter our means of travel across the English Channel. Every effort will be made to contact you and in the event that you cancel, the relevant cancellation charge will apply.
STOPPING OVER EN-ROUTE
Occasionally we may have to change our overnight hotel due to unforeseen circumstances. Every effort will be made to make sure the alternative is a similar standard.
SEAT ALLOCATIONS ON THE COACH
Requests for particular seats can be made at the time of booking. These are allocated on a first come, first served basis. On rare occasions we may have to use another company’s coach. If that happens, your seat position may change.
Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, we reserve the right to reallocate seats to adhere to social distancing measures.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS
Brookline Coaches and its drivers are not responsible for any items left unattended on the coach.
Passengers are asked to be considerate of others when using mobile phones and/or personal music players while the coach is on the move.
Pets and animals are not allowed on our coaches but registered assistance dogs will normally be accommodated on UK holidays but we also have to consider other travellers and ensure that hotels have suitable facilities.
RIGHTS OF REFUSAL
Brookline Coaches reserve the unconditional right to refuse a booking or terminate a passenger’s holiday in the event of unreasonable conduct, which in our opinion is likely to cause annoyance, damage, danger or distress to other customers, employees, property or any third party. If your holiday is terminated for any of those reasons, our responsibility for your holiday ceases immediately. Full cancellation charges will apply and Brookline Coaches will be under no obligation whatsoever for any refund, compensation or loss you may incur.
DATA PROTECTION ACT
In order to process your booking and to ensure that your travel arrangements run smoothly and meet your requirements we need to use the information you provide, such as name and address any special needs/dietary requirements etc. We take full responsibility to ensure that proper measures are in place to protect that information.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
For UK nationals a full 10-year UK passport, valid for at least six months after your scheduled date of return, is required for all continental holidays. Non-EU passport holders must have visas to travel through France and it is the holder’s responsibility to make sure that you have the legal documents to travel.
Brookline Coaches will not be held responsible if you are prevented from travelling through borders and it will be your responsibility to make any arrangements for onward or return travel. No refund will be given for abandonment of a journey due to the lack of personal documentation.
HEALTH
We recommend that all passengers travelling to Europe carry the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). You can apply for or renew an EHIC at www.ehic.org.uk. This is free of charge. Beware of unofficial websites, which may charge if you apply through them. An EHIC will enable you to access state-provided healthcare in European Economic Area (EEA) countries and Switzerland at a reduced cost, or sometimes for free. It will cover your treatment until you return to the UK.
CHILDREN
Children are welcome on our holidays unless we specify that the tour is unsuitable for those under a certain age. Children under 16 will not be allowed to sit in the front seats of coaches.
All infants travelling on our coaches must have an allocated seat and thereby we reserve the right to make a charge for travel. Reductions for children sharing rooms with their parent may apply. Children under 18 may not travel unaccompanied by an adult.
