We’ve got an action packed August coming up.
This Sunday (6th), there are a choice of drop offs on the Kent coast. Alight at Margate for all the fun of the seaside or maybe a visit to Dreamland or the Turner Contemporary gallery. If you are looking for something a little more genteel, leave the coach at Broadstairs, explore the award-winning Blue Flag sandy beaches.
Enjoy a delicious two course lunch while we cruise through the heart of London on Friday 11th. See London’s landmarks from the Thames and there’s free time in Covent Garden after the boat trip.
A day later (12th), we’re off to Colchester. There are two drop-offs for this day trip. Alight in Colchester to explore the large historic town or get dropped off at Colchester Zoo, one of Europe’s finest, with more than 260 rare species.
Enjoy a three course lunch and an afternoon of dog racing on Thursday 17th. Bring some pennies if you want to have a flutter at the Coral Romford Greyhound Stadium.
Saturday 19th is a visit to Windsor Castle – the largest inhabited castle in the world. It is one of the Queen’s three official residences, and is often said to be her favourite.
There’s a day of cuteness on Tuesday 22nd, with a visit to the National Guide Dog Breeding Centre in Bishop’s Tachbrook. The tour will give you the chance to see the puppies as they socialise and grow, gaining experience of everyday sights and sounds which will help them develop the skills they need as guide dogs.
Start the August Bank Holiday weekend in Clacton (25th). It’s the day of the town’s airshow, where the award winning seafronts and west greensward be transformed into a fun filled display site and flight viewing area.
We’re in Europe on Saturday 26th. Come and join us on a trip to the seaside with a difference to the chic town of Le Touquet.
Bank Holiday Sunday offers a choice of drop offs – Hampton Court or Kew Gardens. (Coach travel only – admission payable at the venues).
And finally, Bank Holiday Monday is a relaxing day. From gentle sloping green hills to ancient, picturesque towns and villages – The Cotswolds has it all. Come and explore it with us.
